Kitchen Countertops

When you move into your new home you like to put your own ‘mark’ on the place to make it your own.  I always like to start with the kitchen as this is the heart of our home.  We recently moved into an older home and the previous home owners did not do any updating to the home in the 15 years that they owned it.  The first place we wanted to start with renovations was the kitchen.  Kitchen renovations can be overwhelming with all the choices to make from cabinets, to appliance to backsplash and countertops.

To get started we looked at our local home improvement stores for ideas and looked to our friends kitchens that we loved.  One of my favorite places to look for inspiration is HGTV.

 I have to admit I am a bit of an HGTV junkie and LOVE watching their shows.  I constantly want to update and change rooms in our home!

I recently was sent an article form HGTV on Kitchen Countertops and there are some Fabulous countertops and kitchens that gave me some great inspiration for ours.
